His expertise lies in creating a harmonious balance between human activities and the environment, ensuring that the needs of the present are met without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
In his role at FNI, Mat Nor plays a pivotal part in evaluating the potential environmental impacts of various projects, products, activities, or developments. Mat Nor’s academic background is as impressive as his professional endeavours. He holds a Masters in Islamic Finance from Universiti Teknologi Mara and graduated with a qualification in Sustainability Leadership from a renowned University in the UK. His commitment to furthering his expertise in sustainability is evident in his pursuit of a Ph.D., focusing on advanced sustainability concepts and practices. Since 2013, he has been a distinguished professional member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), showcasing his multifaceted skills and dedication to both environmental sustainability and financial accountability.
